Success for Euro-Lift

News

The 4th Euro-Lift 2016, the international trade fair of the lift industry, took place in Kielce in central Poland. A total of 108 exhibitors presented their products to almost 2000 interested visitors.

The trade fair is a pure B2B event and the only of its kind in central and eastern Europe. The Euro-Lift 2016 presented a wide range of innovations from all areas of the sector.

A multitude of entire lifts and lift components were presented. Lift cars, escalators, lifting equipment, moving pavements, new drives and traction cables, wheel-less machines, speed governors and other components dominated the exhibition.

The product show was rounded off by remote control systems, safety and control systems, lift and fire doors, operating and signalling instruments as well as additional equipment such as operating elements and fittings. A well-stocked press stand included the most important European trade journals. Representatives of leading academic institutions and other sector-related organisations and Internet portals were also present.

Professional communication platform

Many of those present appreciated the trade fair as a professional communication platform for cultivating contacts. Apart from the product show, those attending were also interested in several trade conferences and a series of moderated meetings.

The heart of the trade conference programme was a conference of the Polish Association of Lift Manufacturers Palm, which focused on lift safety questions in Poland. About 200 visitors attended the event. This subject was debated vigorously in line with its importance. The right way to tackle the impending modernisation of the Polish lift stock was above all discussed, since a multitude of the lifts operated in Poland are in urgent need of renovation.

As had already been the case in the earlier trade fair events, Euro-Lift 2016 was organised by Messe Kielce in coproduction with the Polish trade journal "Magazyn Dzwig” and the industry association Palm. This year it took place for the first time together with Locum Expo, trade fair for property care and maintenance and the 3rd Europarking, the international trade fair of parked traffic.
