Tried-and-tested emergency call technology

News

The new NRT XT and NRT XS emergency call devices have been tried-and-tested. Rising sales figures demonstrate that the devices deserve their place on the market.

This is because, apart from the well-known reliability of Telegärtner products, various designs of the devices fit in with every conceivable installation situation. For example, devices for mounting on the car, in the car and in the panel are equally possible, as are surface-mounted versions in an elegant stainless steel mounting, for example for landing emergency calls.

Devices automatically conduct a function test

Another great advantage of the new devices is the option of connecting up to nine devices on one telephone line or via a mobile communications gateway. In this way the regular costs for the communication network can be slashed. In addition, the devices automatically conduct a function test, including a microphone and loudspeaker test and report the results regularly to the control centre.

The devices can handle the data protocols Telegärtner, P100 and Q23 and as a result can be connected to a multitude of emergency call control centres. TÜV Rheinland and TÜV Austria have confirmed they can be used safely in passenger and cargo lifts. The NRT NT series will be replaced by new NRT XT series at the turn of the year 2016/2017.
