Emergency call and monitoring – made easy

News

Safesolutions GmbH is now offering an emergency call device that keeps an eye on the lift in the background.

Fault clearance is personnel-intensive and has great potential for annoyance. The work cannot be planned and therefore usually arises at the least suitable moment. This is at the expense of maintenance, which in turn leads to even more faults.

A vicious cycle, which companies can easily break out of, Safesolutions GmbH emphasises, "An emergency call device that keeps an eye on the lift in the background is the ideal solution."

Apart from voice emergency call, the Elseco GSM 9000 provides battery monitoring and routine calls. It can transmit a lift incident (LMS), diagnosis or collective alarm, display a power failure and document the beginning and end of the alarm, "Trip and operating hour meters provide reliable user data."

Plan maintenance as needed

The GSM module, loudspeaker, microphone and monitored battery are built into the emergency call telephone. Anyone who logs on from the Safesolutions portal can keep an eye on all of their lifts (not just emergency call devices) and in this way plan maintenance as needed.

The company also provides a SIM card with background monitoring. If a fault occurs or the voice communication changes drastically, Safesolutions informs its customers so that they can react without loss of time.

Installation

HandwerkNormally, Elseco GSM 9000 is installed on the car roof. Its only interfaces run to the 230 V power supply and existing emergency call button.

Thanks to the high speech quality and electronically adjustable volume up to 60 dB, the central telephone terminal in the device is sufficient. Full duplex permits convenient duplex communication without technically induced interruptions.

EN 81-28 has been observed fully by expanding the LED icons. Up to six telephone terminals can be connected. Groups can share a terminal.

Programming

Safesolutions provides the programming software "e-stant" on its homepage; customers can choose between local and remote programming. Installation is self-explanatory and the programming intuitive, the company emphasised.

Tutorial by TeamViewer

To simplify the changeover, the manufacturer provides a tutorial via TeamViewer. As a result, customers can run through all of the options with a technician.

Installation together with you

Safesolutions is ready to install the Elseco GSM 9000 in a lift together with the customer. In addition, it also assumes the installation of the new device, "This gives you an elegant way to compensate for capacity bottlenecks without any expense on our part."
