Over once again

Sometimes it’s astonishing how time flies. At first you have the feeling an event is a long time in coming. You work towards it, make all the preparations and then all of a sudden, the time has come: your suit becomes your favourite item of clothing and for almost a week you run into new old acquaintances every day. I am of course referring to the interlift.

VFA-Forum interlift 2013

The VFA-Forum of interlift 2013 once again featured a comprehensive range of subjects of great topical importance in the lift industry.

“Magnifica” interlift with new visitors record

Really everything was as usual: After the anount of exhibitors and the amount of space booked achieved new top benchmarks, the interlift also reached top figures with the visitors: 18,900 guests – of whom every second one was a foreigner – were thrilled by the biggest interlift so far.

LED in metal construction

The company Schüra GbR is a new venture, that sets themselves to the task to combine LED and metal. Therefore they have created a new System with single LED in Handrails.

Landing doors compliant with DIN 18091 and DIN EN 81 Part 58 with identical measurement specifications

At the last vote conducted by the German Civil Engineering Standards Committee (NABau) in 2011 concerning the DIN 18091 standard, the participants agreed to validate the standard and leave it unaltered. The next revision is scheduled to take place in 2016. This means that until that date, it will be permitted to install landing doors that comply with both DIN 18091 and DIN EN 81-58 in fire-resistant lift shafts in Germany.

Dictator has given its home lift DHM 500 a facelift. Both the requirements of the new Machinery Directive 2006/42/ EC have been met as well as the options improved for customer-related, tailormade design.
