Ready for the future

KW-Aufzugstechnik’s controls have made a name for themselves in the industry. The company has now built a new production hall.

HandwerkKW-Aufzugstechnik focuses on the reliability, safety and durability of its components. For what has now been over 20 years, the company has been developing and producing controls and control units for lifts and special solutions of all kinds.

To do justice to the headlong developments in the industry and continue to supply customers quickly and reliably, KW-Aufzugstechnik has invested in a new production hall. Consequently, an assembly and production hall for switch cabinets, consoles and frequency converters was produced to the highest technical standards in cooperation with its staff.

Expand and modernise production capacities

The department for laser cutting and labelling technology located on the ground floor in combination with a 5-ton hall crane and the associated high-bay warehouse illustrate the high vertical integration and aim to do justice to enhanced production quantities. In-house metal working now makes it possible to produce individual control cabinets and consoles in short cycle times.

HandwerkThe assembly lines in U-shape for control equipment, such as frequency converters and soft start units are on the first floor, as well as the console assembly. Brightly lit by modern LED lighting and fitted with sparkling clean flooring, the assembly lines resemble a laboratory.

The company is proud of its history and is ideally equipped for the future. Fulfilment and certification according to EN 81-20/50 has been successfully concluded. Thanks to the redesign of the production line for switch cabinet wiring and test labs in the main plant, KW-Aufzugstechnik has been able to expand and modernise its previous production capacities. Modern components and processes based on internal data networking in a clearly structured environment support the employees in their work.
