Schmersal Group has named Uwe Seeger as Director Asia-Pacific-Middle EAST (APME).
In this newly created position he will be responsible for further expansion of the markets and development of the customer relationships in the APME region. To this end, he will establish new companies in future in the region for Schmersal Group and there also expand and develop the range of services for the new business division for safety services, tec.nicum.
In addition, Uwe Seeger will be responsible for the Schmersal factories in India and China. The goal here is to achieve better interlocking of the two production locations and exploit possible synergies. Uwe Seeger will cooperate closely with Sagar Bhosale, managing director of Schmersal India Private Limited, Ranjangaon / Paon, and Felix Liu, managing director of Schmersal Industrial Switchgear Co. Ltd., Shanghai on this task.
Uwe Seeger worked in senior positions for global groups in Shanghai for many years. He has profound management experience in the international context and speaks fluent Chinese.
