Andreas Gruß (47) has become the new Director Zone Operations at Otis Germany. In future, he will be in charge of the operational sales business as a whole.
He will also be responsible for profits in this area for Otis in Germany in the field organisation. In addition, Gruß will become part of the business management of the world market leader. Otis, the world’s leading manufacturer and service provider of products for passenger transport, including lifts, escalators and moving pavements, is part of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).
As Director Zone Operations, Gruß reports directly to the chairman of the board of directors Udo Hoffmann. From April 1996 to November 2012 Gruß held various management positions for the company; most recently, he was in charge of service operations for Germany.
“We were able acquire a manager in Andreas Gruß who was perfectly familiar with the values of our company. Thanks to his many years of management experience in sales, we are convinced that Mr Gruß will further advance our company, especially in the field of digitalisation,” emphasised Hoffmann.
