A leading international lift manufacturer has ordered frequency inverters for the US market from Gefran. The supply agreement for a total order volume of 23 million euros runs three years.

The first lift inverters will probably be delivered in 2018. The new frequency inverter is based on the Gefran lift inverter type ADL300 with field-oriented vector regulation for synchronous and asynchronous motors. It has been adapted for this customer.

Economically very efficient

Gefran designed the ADL300 lift inverter series especially for new installations and modernisations of sophisticated passenger lifts. Apart from their high safety standard, the inverters are also compact in design and quiet.

They adjust precisely to the level of the landings and as a result guarantee safe entry and departure from the car. Special lift functions ensure gentle starting and deceleration at high car speed. In addition, they are economically very efficient - in installation and operation.

The optimised design with high quality components ensures the lift inverters a long life and the combination with the rectifier/regenerative unit AFE200 provides the option for energy-saving, regenerative installation. All of the inverters for the order will be manufactured completely in Europe.
