Lifts. BIM. Automation.

News

The work processes at lift manufacturers are undergoing increasing automation. DigiPara Software provides matching solutions for BIM and for combination with common CAD applications.

At this year's interlift trade fair (17 – 20 October 2017), DigiPara will be presenting its services with the motto “Lifts. BIM. Automation” once again as expert for "Building Information Modelling (BIM)" in lift construction and providing software solutions for efficient planning and configuration of lifts and escalators.

Apart from fully-automated drawing production via ERP systems, it is now also possible to use CAD models from the most common CAD programmes in the new DigiPara Liftdesigner 2018.

Focus on CAD productivity

Demands in the lift market are subject to the same conditions as in any other sector: lift and component manufacturers try to save costs, time and money. Work processes are increasingly being automated in this connection.

HandwerkDigiPara Liftdesigner was always a perfect tool for automating lift installation and production drawings. In addition, users can noticeably boost their productivity by using their CAD data and export as 3D BIM models.

DigiPara Liftdesigner 2018 permits direct use of original 3D CAD files from SolidWorks, PTC Creo and Autodesk Inventor. Manufacturers can insert their own components in the complete lift model and as a result plan their lifts in great detail and individually. Moreover, manufacturers can provide their entire lift as 3D BIM model to architects.

Marketing platform

The cost-free DigiPara Liftdesigner Free Edition is an ideal tool for any user and facilitates tender drawings at the push of a button. Component manufacturers benefit from marketing their products worldwide with more than 1,500 users in DigiPara Liftdesigner Free Edition. The certified data is prominently available for download on the homepage of the software.

The BIM experts of DigiPara will present additional functions of the current software at the interlift in Augsburg of 17 – 20 October in Hall 7, Stand 7130.
