About the Eurolift on the European market

News

The fifth Eurolift concluded at the beginning of October in Kielce in central Poland with almost 2,000 trade visitors.

Over one hundred companies from 14 countries presented their products and services on an area of over 1,500 m² – a slight decline compared to the trade fair two years ago.

In 2016, 108 exhibitors from 18 countries came to Kielce. But according to the organisers, the trading fair was able as a result to consolidate its position as the leading trade fair for the lift sector in Central and Eastern Europe.

Numerous innovations

HandwerkApart from Poland, there were companies from Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Belarus, Hungary, Russia, the Ukraine and the USA in attendance. There was a strikingly large proportion of new companies from emerging markets, which used the Eurolift as a way to enter the European market.

The leading trade fair for the lift sector in Central and Eastern Europe has been staged bi-annually since 2010. Apart from an extensive product range from all areas of the lift sector, numerous innovations were also on show.

Among other things, this related to new positioning functions for vehicle lifts or energy-saving systems that can be driven by solar energy. Leading European industry associations were also present at the Eurolift, such as the European Lift Association ELA or the Italian industry representation ANICA.

Extensive conference and organisation programme

The trade fair was supported by an extensive conference and organisation programme. For example, this related to the presentation of the programme "Accessibility Plus", which deals with better access to public spaces for the handicapped and senior citizens.

In addition, the Polish Lift Association conducted several events, such as "Maintenance, modernisation and construction of lifts after the end of EN PN 81.20/50." There was also a focus on the subjects of digitalisation, further training and education and enhancing safety standards.

Next Eurolift in October 2020

HandwerkThe Lokum Epo trade fair, which deals with building management, was staged in parallel to the Eurolift. The bandwidth ranged from sustainable building management to investment and financing programmes, such as public private partnership.

The Eurolift is a joint project of the Kielce trade fair company, the Polish Association of Lift Manufacturers and the publisher of the trade journal "Magazyn Dzwig" (Liftjournal). The next Eurolift will take place in October 2020.
