The Schmersal Group is continuing to expand its network: it has established a subsidiary with its office in Bangkok, Schmersal Thailand Co. Ltd, and recently opened the branch "Schmersal Middle East-FZE" in Dubai.
"The Thai market and the entire South-East Asian region have great potential for Schmersal," explained Prasad Kulkarni, managing director of Schmersal Thailand Co. Ltd.
The Bangkok branch will support Schmersal sales partners in the ASEAN area and supply markets in Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines and South Korea with products and system solutions for machine safety. In addition, certified functional safety engineers from tec.nicum, Schmersal’s service division, which provides a wide range of safety services, will work at the new location.
"With the foundation of Schmersal Middle East-FZE, we are also further expanding our business activities in the direction of the Middle East," Uwe Seeger, Director Asia Pacific Middle East, Schmersal Group, revealed in relation to the foundation of the branch "Schmersal Middle East-FZE" in Dubai. "By taking this step, we are moving closer to our local customers, which we see as a great advantage, since we believe there is great potential in the United Arab Emirates and the countries of the Middle East."
The Schmersal Group supplies customers in the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa) with safety-related products and systems. Furthermore, it provides them with tec.nicum’s range of safety services.
"Our services division is a worldwide network with functional safety engineers certified by TÜV Rheinland. Consequently, the services of the international organisation tec.nicum can now also be called on conveniently on the spot in the United Arab Emirates," noted Uwe Seeger, Director Asia Pacific Middle East, Schmersal Group.
