ANIE AssoAscensori has a new President

ANIE AssoAscensori, the Italian Association of Lifts and Escalators has elected a new President.

It is Angelo Fumagalli, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Schindler Italia, the Italian subsidiary of the Swiss multinational group.

Born in Bergamo in 1960, Angelo Fumagalli has a degree in Nuclear Engineering. After twenty years in Schneider Electric, he joined Schindler in June 2009 as Chief Operating Officer for Northern Italy. Since 2011 he has been the current Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Schindler Italia.

"I hope to give an effective contribution in the coming years, going on all the activities that made out the Association in the national and international framework", said the new President Angelo Fumagalli: "I would like to maintain continuity in program with the Presidency of Roberto Zappa."
