BTR: Change of generations completed

The BTR Brandschutz-Technik- und Rauchabzug Service GmbH and Seifert & Jedamski Brandschutz-Technik und Rauchabzug Service GmbH have decided on a change of generations.

Therefore, Carsten Jedamski and Kurt Seifert have left the company and have laid down the management. Günther Jonas has been the new managing director for both companies since 1 May. He has over 20 years of professional experience in the field of smoke and heat extraction and management of service companies in the field of door and window automation.

This change of generations is also associated with a change in the trading name of both companies. The company known on the market as BTR Brandschutz-Technik- und Rauchabzug Service GmbH will in future be known as BTR GmbH and Seifert & Jedamski Brandschutz-Technik und Rauchabzug Service GmbH will in future be known as BTR Service GmbH.

Expert knowledge for fire protection

In future Kurt Seifert and Karsten Jedamski, experts for smoke extraction and detection systems, intend to spend more of their time serving the BTR-Brandschutzakademie (BTR Fire Protection Academy) in Hamburg. The main focus will be on transferring expert knowledge in seminars regarding structural and preventive fire protection, certification and expert activity.

The academy has been certified according to DIN EN 9001. All training units will be directed at smoke and heat extraction experts, persons new to this field and electrical experts, who want to expand their expertise to smoke and heat extraction systems. The knowledge acquired on the state of the art, the latest developments and applications is tested and certified. Upon completion, a qualification certificate or confirmation of expert knowledge is provided.

The courses take place in the Fire Protection Academy in Hamburg, but can also be moved to the location of the particular company, as needed.
