interlift 2019: Branch leader presents world firsts

News

The coming interlift is 2019’s largest lift trade fair. And it will probably be even bigger than the previous event in 2017. The most important news, tips and facts for exhibitors and visitors:

One thing is certain: the coming interlift (Augsburg, 15-18 october) is 2019’s largest lift trade fair. And it will probably be even bigger than the previous event in 2017.

The most important news, tips and facts for exhibitors and visitors:
455 exhibitors are currently registered, and large joint presentations from Italy and China as well as participants from the federal state of Saxony will also be there. Korea, too, for the first time has signalled concrete interest in a greater participation.

Lift companies from more than 40 countries will be presenting their innovations in Augsburg; the occupied area will increase by about 2,000m² to over 46,000m². As recently, the quota of new or repeat exhibitors is around 5%.

interlift 2019 presents tomorrow’s lift world

HandwerkNumerous innovations and further developments are also expected in 2019. In addition to new ISO norms which are valid worldwide, it is digitalisation that is responsible for increasingly fast technical changes here.

Digital documentation, remote monitoring, Industry 4.0, building information or maintenance as required are just some of the fields which currently occupy industry intensively.

In this way the interlift 2019 is an obligatory date for everyone who has anything to do with lifts, for many innovations and trends which will affect the world of lifts in the future are presented here for the first time.

Optimised trade fair tour

Halls: In contrast to recently, the halls 8 (Wittur-Cube) and 9 are included in the trade fair tour. At the interlift 2019, visitors to hall 3 can get to hall 7 directly via halls 8 and 9. That this model functions very well was shown by the GrindTec, a trade fair comparable to the interlift with regard to size and visitor numbers. The trade fair management situated between halls 8 and 9 and a Street Food park have also contributed to this success.

Shuttle bus service: The shuttle bus service has also been further developed by the organisers, the AFAG. The offer, which was already comprehensive, is being extended by an additional line from the Munich bus station (directly next to the central train station) to the exhibition centre. Together with the connections to Munich Airport and the Augsburg central train station there are now three regular bus services to the exhibition centre.

Improved service for visitors

HandwerkTravel: As in 2017 the parking spaces of the WWK arena directly next to the exhibition centre are available for all visitors arriving by car. A free shuttle bus runs between the stadium and the exhibition centre and in this way visitors can comfortably reach the entry areas within about 7 minutes.

"Lift Experts’ Night": The relocation of the exhibitors’ "Lift Experts’ Night" to the business area of the WWK arena has also proved successful. The shuttle service is of course also available to the guests of this festive evening.

Hotel reservations: It is basically the case that the hotels in and around Augsburg are well-booked during the interlift. The Regio Augsburg Tourismus GmbH offers support in looking for accommodation, also via their online booking system (at www.regio-augsburg.de). You can reach the Regio Augsburg by phone at +49 (0)821 – 5 02 07-31/-34 or by email at hotelservice@regio-augsburg.de.
